Chips Masala (you have to try this!)

The thing about potatoes, is the versatility. You can prepare them in so many ways and enjoy them every time you do. I love me some good masala chips, with some sausage or chicken… or even on their own I will still eat them. This recipe will have you wanting to eat them every single time!

Prep time: 10 min

Cook time: 10 min

Total: 20 min

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 plates of cooked fries
  • 1 medium onion; diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Coriander, for garnish
  • Cooking oil

Method:

  1. In a pan, on medium low heat, add oil. Add onions and cook for 2 min. Add garlic, sauté till fragrant and softened
  2. Add tomato paste & ketchup as you stir. Add spices & stir then add your water as it comes to a simmer on low heat
  3. Add the fries, and gently coat them with the masala sauce making sure not to break or mash them. Garnish with coriander and serve. Add sausages or meat of choice if you like.
